Abstract:
PURPOSE: To decrease the number of constituent parts and also the man-hours for assembling and enhance the appearance by furnishing a detention part at the end in the direction left and right of an instrument panel, and detaining the bottom of a front pillar trim with the detention part.
CONSTITUTION: A detention part 2 is formed rigidly at the end in the direction left and right of an instrument panel 1. A plat plate part 4 is provided at the bottom of a front pillar trim 3, and a notch 6 is provided between two tabs 5, 5 which are extended down. The notch 6 is intruded in the detention part 2 while the front surfaces of these tabs 5, 5 are contacted with the side face of the folded-back part 1a of instrument panel 1. The flat plate part 4 is detained with the detention part 2, and the bottom of the front pillar trim 3 is secured to the instrument panel 1.
