Title:
MOUSE CURSOR CONTROLLER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH04138517
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To immediately check a mouse cursor by detecting the lift of a mouse by a contact sensor at the time of lifting the mouse from the surface of a desk when a mouse cursor is lost sight of and then switching respective mouse cursor pattern storing parts.

CONSTITUTION: The 1st and 2nd mouse curse pattern storing parts 16A, 16B are connected to a pattern switching part 15, which selects one of the storing parts 16A, 16B. Namely, when the mouse 11 is lifted up and its buttom is separated from the surface of the desk at the time of losing the sight of the mouse cursor, the pattern switching part 15 selects the storing part 16B based upon a signal outputted from the sensor 13. Thereby, a pattern transfer device 17 transfers a pattern having luminance higher than that of a normal mouse cursor pattern to a bit map memory 18 to display the pattern on a display device 19. Thereby, the mouse cursor is displayed with higher luminance as compared with other patterns on the screen. Thus, the mouse cursor can easily be checked.
