Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mouth forming method on arrival of a shield machine and the shield machine capable of removing a reached structure wall without using soil improvement by secondary chemical grouting and constituted so that only main components such as a cutter of the shield machine can be recovered.
SOLUTION: The invention is provided with a process of recovering a cutter device 3 and its driver 5 while leaving an outer cylinder 2 of the shield machine 1 when the shield machine 1 has reached a structure A to be reached, a process of inserting a subsequent embedded pipe 9 in the left outer cylinder 2, and a process of opening mouth communicated with the embedded pipe 9 in the reached structure.
