PURPOSE: To increase safety at the time when changing over the wheel of a swinging wheel type training bicycle to a swing side or a fixed side.
CONSTITUTION: A helical gear 12 is provided with a rotation sensor 31 and further, a helical gear 11 making a pair with the helical gear 12 and arranged in front thereof is equipped with a crank lever 18. A crank mechanism 28 is provided at both right and left ends of the crank lever shaft and a clutch device is provided on the crank lever shaft and further, a changeover device 49 to put in or out the clutch device. The changeover device is connected to an operating disk 33 through a wheel-changeover controller 30. When the wheel- changeover controller receives an instruction to fix the wheels 22, 23, it compares a basic revolution with the present revolution calculated from a detected value of the rotation sensor 31 and if the present revolution is lower than the basic revolution, the clutch device is cut off through the changeover device 49 and the wheel is fixed.
