Abstract:
To surely detect a patient going out by a system which detects a dementia patient, etc., wandering in a hospital, facilities, a house, etc., and going out of a room.
People other than patients put on a detected member 5 which is made of a magnetic body and when both an infrared sensor 4 and a magnetic sensor 5 detect it in a doorway 2 of the hospital 1, an alarm generating means 7 generates no alarm and when only the infrared sensor 4 detects it, an alarm is generated; and this device eliminates the need to make a patient put on the detected member 5, and the patient never takes the detected member 5 off, so that the outgoing of the patient can securely be detected.
