To tilt a binder to a new angle position without taking expense by providing a means for altering an angle position in relation to the longitudinal axis relation to the longitudinal axis of the binder composed of comb-shaped wire during the movement of the binder from a first station to a second station.
When a binder 1 composed of a comb-shaped wire arrives at a magnet 17 under the impellent force action of a slider 18, inclination moment is generated to rotate the binder in the direction shown by an arrow 27 and the back part 4 of the binder is raised from a slide passage and the opened side surface are counterclockwise revolved toward a stop member 24 from an angle position W1 to an angle position W2. This tilting motion is completed when the leading end of the binder comes into contact with the stop member 24 and the slider 18 and the stop member 24 are synchronously moved to the left in the direction shown by an arrow 26 or 19 to fix the binder 1 at the position W2. The stop member 24 retreats to reach a second position P and the slider 18 already returns to its initial position and a ram 21 pushes the slider 18 in the direction shown by an arrow 23 for the purpose of next processing.
