Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mud-solidifying device in which a feeding rate of mud into a rotary drum can be kept almost constant regardless of a certain extent of fluctuation of the water pressure at the position of a conveyor for sending untreated mud into the rotary drum.
SOLUTION: The opening of a mud-introduction pipe 3 provided so as to penetrate a side face-fixing plate 1a closing the end edge of the mud-receiving side of the rotary drum 10 is covered with a pressure-adjusting plate 30 urged by an elastic spiral spring imparting a larger pressure than the pressure of the mud acting on the opening and rotatably provided in the rotary shaft 31, when the conveyor is brought to a stop.
