Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the quantity of waste by adding a soil particle flocculation accelerator to muddy water to flocculate soil particle components in the muddy water to form soil particle aggregate, settling the soil particle aggregate to separate it from the supernatant, and subjecting the precipitated soil particle aggregate to dehydration treatment by a separation means.
SOLUTION: When muddy water generated from a drilling site or the like for a shaft is fed into a muddy water storage tank 2 from a feeding pipe 1, the muddy water overflows an agitation tank 5 and flows into the agitation tank 5. At this time, a scooping pump 6 in a flocculation accelerator storage tank 3 is operated to feed a flocculation accelerator into the agitation tank 5 through a feeding pipe 4 and obtain a liquid mixture of the turbid water and the flocculation accelerator here. Next, the liquid mixture is fed to a water receiving tank in a sedimentation tank 8 by a scooping tank 7, and during this period, the soil particle components are flocculated to form flocs. Next, a flow that has overflowed the water receiving tank is caused to fall along an umbrella-shaped partition wall 11, and successively, it is slowly raised in the sedimentation tank 8. Here, the flocs are subjected to sedimentation while their diffusion is restrained.
