Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely introduce a weft jetted from a weft mixing pipe into a flying channel by eliminating the occurrence of defective weft inserting resulting from increase in entanglement and shaking of weft in a multi-colored weft inserting apparatus of a type in which an air flow jetted from at least one weft mixing pipe in a nozzle group is deflected and the weft jetted from the weft mixing pipe is introduced into a flying channel of a deformed reed by the deflected air flow.
SOLUTION: A means for deflecting an air flow jetted from a weft mixing pipe 3 is constituted of a sucking member equipped with a suction hole in the vicinity of a jet nozzle of the weft mixing pipe. The jetted air flow is deflected toward the center line of a flying channel by negative pressure produced at the central part of a nozzle group by the suction of the sucking member and the jetted weft is ridden on the air flow and introduced to the flying channel.
