To provide a multi-fuel firing device of coal and biomass, and a boiler equipped therewith which can pulverize biomass fuel down to a particle size equivalent to coal without adding a dedicated pulverizer suitable for pulverization of the biomass fuel to a coal fired boiler plant, in particular an existing plant, do not cause embers in burning, and can enhance a multi-fuel firing rate.
The multi-fuel firing device of coal and biomass includes: a flow path 1 of a mixed flow of dust coal and dust coal carrier gas and a mixed flow jet provided at the outlet part; a secondary air flow path 2 provided in a peripheral part of the flow path 1 of the mixed flow of dust coal and dust coal carrier gas and a secondary air jet provided at the outlet part; and a tertiary air flow path 3 provided in a peripheral part of the secondary air flow path 2 and a tertiary air jet provided at the outlet part successively from the central part towards the periphery, and includes a nozzle 5 for jetting a plurality of semi-carbonized biomass fuels in a peripheral part of a burning device provided with a flame holder 4 in a peripheral part of an outlet of the mixed flow jet of dust coal and dust coal carrier gas.
