Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a personal communication device or system for performing various functions in accordance with the position of a read head for reading an arbitrary target.
SOLUTION: The personal communication device has: a display for displaying data and image signals; a speaker for generating audible signals; a microphone for receiving audio signals; a key pad for inputting data; a communication interface for receiving and transmitting information; and the read head which can be located at a plurality of positions. The read head has a plurality of functions of using a first lens element at a first position to read an image for an image signal generation and of using a second lens element at a second position to read the image for image conversion. Thus a user may easily capture desired data or image and may excellently and accurately process transmission of information.
