Abstract:
To obtain a multi-layer leather member that can prevent wear due to external friction of a thread line sewing a circumferential edge of the multi-layer leather member, without lowering strength of an outer-most layer of the surface side of the multi-layer leather member for forming leather products, and also without asking the nature of the leather for use in the surface side outer-most layer.SOLUTION: A multi-layer leather member 1 has an outer-most layer comprising the leather at sides of front and rear surfaces, and is formed in an integral laminate where a circumferential edge is sewn. A recessed groove 4 by pressing force is formed along a preset sewing-scheduled line L in a lower surface of a surface side outer-most layer 2 of the multi-layer leather member. A step-forming floor material 6 is provided at intervals of a length being equal to or more than a thickness of the step-forming floor material 6 from an inner edge of the recessed groove 4 along the recessed groove 4 at the inside from the recessed groove 4.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
