The multi-projection system has the image processing device 101 capable of adjusting the pixel values of three basic colors of red, green and blue for every basic color. The image processing device 101 has a color tinge suppressing function to suppress the unwanted color tinge appearing in the superposed area A due to the optical characteristics of the adjacent projectors PJ1 and PJ2 when projection images projected from the projectors PJ1 and PJ2 are partially light-reduced by the optical light shielding means (light shielding plates S1 and S2) by adjusting the pixel value of the basic color required to suppress the color tinge out of three basic colors for every basic color.
