To provide a multi-projection system in which switching of passages can be dealt with quickly without performing calibration every time when the passage is switched, and a high resolution high quality image free from color unevenness can be observed stably.
The multi-projection system for projecting one image onto a screen 5 from a plurality of projectors 4 comprises a plurality of switchable passages for projecting/observing an image, sections 21a and 21b for storing correction data of the output characteristics of each projector 4 in correspondence with each passage, and an image processing section 22 performing correction processing of an input image signal based on the correction data stored in a correction data storing section corresponding to a passage being used.
