Title:
MULTIFREQUENCY AND MULTI-PROTOCOL RADIO COMMUNICATION EQUIPMENT
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH1084584
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To allow the communication equipment to adjust a protocol by providing an operator entry means, an output means, a transceiver section, an adaptive circuit including a 2nd adaptive branch different from a 1st adaptive branch and a micro-controller.

A micro-controller 58 and a DSP(digital signal processor) 60 are communicated with each other via a communication bus 70 and the bus 70 is used to provide communication with two-way branches by a communication protocol adaptive tree 72. A received signal is sent from the right to the left along a proper branch in branches 72a, b to decode a speech signal from an RF signal. Conversely, the communication from the user of an equipment 22 is sent from the left to the right and the format is converted into a specific format used for cellular communication environment used by the equipment 22 at a specific time. The controller 58 activates selectively the branches 72a, b to control part of the RF section and to sample the communication environment thereby making the equipment adaptive to the cellular communication environment.
