The data management method is provided with the on-vehicle terminal 10 including the scanner 12 for the non-contact ID tag 12, a communication port 31 for connection with the on-vehicle terminal via the radio communication channel or the communication line, a control part 35 controlling the on-vehicle terminal through the communication port, a memory part 33 storing the non-contact ID tag data from the on-vehicle terminal through the communication port, and the portable terminal 30 including a communication part 32 to communicate with an external managing device 50 for the data on work. The data of the work instruction on the work from the external managing device is covered by the non-contact ID tag data and the worker data.
