To provide a device with a built-in encryption function of a conventional computing device which has no limits of a conventional technique outputting decryption information.
Contents can be output in an encrypted format by means of a multimedia output device with a built-in encryption function. The multimedia output device receives and encrypts contents, and provides electronic output of the encrypted contents. The multimedia output device generates related paper output which selectively supplies decryption keys, identification information of the electronic output of the encrypted contents, and information regarding encryption for descriptions or the like of the contents. The decoding key is separately stored from the encrypted contents by separating the decryption key from the encrypted contents, and therefore, a security level of the encrypted contents is enhanced. Even though the encrypted contents are passed to a person with no authority, an unexpected receiver has no key for decrypting the contents.
