Abstract:
To provide a multiphase DC-DC converter which distributes an inductor current efficiently, reliably, and economically while the inductor current is distributed between legs.
A controller 42 of a control system 30 receives a sensor signal 44 from a single current sensor 40 and compares the quantity of a current running in a first leg 34 for a first period and the quantity of a current running in a second leg 36 for a second period with a command value based on the sensor signal 44. The command value is a desired quantity or an objective quantity of the current about each of the legs 34 and 36 at a specific point of time and makes the corresponding detection current identical to the objective quantity of the current.
