PURPOSE: To provide a multiple-spot conference system capable of holding a multiple-spot conference without using a multiple-spot conference controller which performs the centralized control of plural terminals in one to one.
CONSTITUTION: Data received from a loop on one side is separated to voice data and image data at every spot by a separation part 114-1, and the voice data. after being decoded and mixed, is reproduced. The image data, after synchronous adjustment with an image frame being performed, is composited in one picture, and decoded and displayed. Simultaneously, reception data is shifted at every channel by a multiplexing part 106-1, and encoded voice data of its own terminal is multiplexed on the image data on a free channel, and transmitted to the loop on the other side.
