Abstract:
PURPOSE:To prevent the double withdrawal for a payment by writing backup data on a card for money when an error is found out in the write of balance data on the card for money. CONSTITUTION:The card 10 for money is inserted to an automatic clearing device, and money data is read by a read/write part 1, and it is sent to a write means 5 and a withdrawal processing means 6. The means 5 takes backup by writing read data on memory 3. The means 6 subtracts available amount from the read data, and writes the balance data on the card 10 at the part 1. The data is compared with the balance data calculated at the means 6, and the presence/absence of an write error is inspected. When the write error exists, a readout means 8 reads out the backup data, and writes it on the card 10 at the part 1. The presence of the write error is displayed on a display part 4 and completed processing.
