Abstract:

To improve the reliability of an I/O access to an I/O device even when an I/O device dedicated for multiplexing is not fabricated.

A multiplexing device of this invention activates a plurality of operating systems (OS), allows an application common to the respective operating systems to be executed, manages input/output with a device, and includes: synchronization execution control means for controlling each operation of the plurality of OSs; I/O output synchronizing means for performing an I/O output to the device based on each I/O output value from the plurality of OSs; and I/O input synchronizing means for performing an I/O input to the OS which requests the I/O input based on each I/O input request from the plurality of OSs from the device.
