Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a multiplication circuit which is capable of directly multiplying analog data and digital data without requiring A/D, D/A conversions.
CONSTITUTION: This multiplication circuit M performs a control as to whether analog input voltage X is made to generate at an output terminal or not by making digital input voltage a switching signal, integrates digital input signals b0 to b7 of plural bits, giving weight by a capacitive coupling CP, and further, adds a code bit (s) to the capacitive coupling CP with weight which is twice as heavy as the most significant bit of a digital input.
