Abstract:
PURPOSE: To improve the accuracy of discrimination of the video signal in a multiscan display device.
CONSTITUTION: When the kind of a video signal inputted from a computer is discriminated in the multiscan display device, the kind of the video signal is discriminated whether the data of frequency, a synchronizing polarity and the number of lines from a frequency detection circuit 2, a synchronizing porarity detection circuit 3 and a counter for the number of lines 4 are respectively coincident with registered data or not.
