Title:
MULTIWELL PLATE FOR CULTURING CELL, CULTURE OF CELL AND DETERMINATION OF CELL
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3731921
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain the subject plate facilitating the multiplication of anchorage- nondependent bacteria and capable of correctly performing the examination of the multiplication degrees of cancer cells by forming plural wells and further coating the inner surfaces of wells with a polymethacrylate.
CONSTITUTION: Poly(2-hydroxyethyl methacrylate) is added to 95% ethanol in a concentration of 5mg/mL and subsequently held at 37°C. The perfectly dissolved solution is supplied into the wells of a 96 polystyrene microplate having a multi-channel dispenser with a pipette, covered with a lid, and subsequently dried at 37°C for two days to coat at least the inner surfaces of the wells with the polymethacrylate, thereby obtaining the objective cell culture multiwell plate having two or more wells, facilitating the multiplication of anchorage-nondependent bacteria and enabling to accurately determine the multiplication of cancer cells, etc.
