Abstract:
PURPOSE: To enable an information center to store and distribute the operation mode of a music reproducing device as a terminal device by providing a storage means where information characteristics of terminal devices distributed from the terminal devices to the information center by a communication means is registered.
CONSTITUTION: The information center 2 which controls plural music reproducing devices 1 (11, 1n) as the terminal devices has a mass-storage recording medium 3 such as a hard disk which stores background image information showing the genre of music and the contents of a background image, operation modes characteristic of the reproducing devices set in the music reproducing devices 1 as the terminal devices, etc., as well as main information such as MIDI information (music information), text character information, chorus information, and still picture information as to many pieces of music. Then the operation mode information, etc., on the music reproducing devices 1 is all stored together in the information center 2 and then the respective pieces of operation mode information are distributed to the respective terminal devices at a time to improve the functions and manages them at the same time.
