Abstract:

To provide improved and easily obtainable means and methods for medical intervention of diseases related to antiβ-AR antibodies, particularly antiβ₁-EC_II antibodies.

A cyclic peptide is represented by formula I, wherein (a) x is an amino acid other than Cys, (b) h is an optional integer of 1-15, (c) i is an optional integer of 0-14, (d) one of x^a, x^b and x^c is Pro, (e) y is an amino acid other than Cys, and (f) the cyclic peptide comprises at least 16 and at most 25 amino acids.
