Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the operability of soft keys by deciding a soft key name according to the use frequency of a soft key from information of a soft key state that can assign plural functions, a call state of a telephone set and soft key display management and controlling it so that is may be shown on an indicator.
SOLUTION: A telephone set housing part 60 has a handset 61, a dial pad 62, plural function selection keys 63, soft keys 64 to which plural functions are selectively assigned and a soft key display device 65 that consists of an LCD, etc. A function of a call state is supplied to a soft key state management table from a call state management table that is stored in a storing part in accordance with a call state of a telephone set, and a soft key group is specified from the soft key state management table. A function number of a soft key 64 that is set and registered by a user, soft key display priority and use frequency are sought from a soft key group number. Displaying them according to a soft key display information management table improves selectivity.
