Abstract:
NEW MATERIAL:A compound of formula I (Ac is acetyl).
USE: A deoxyribonucleic acid(DNA) transoription-controlling agent.
PREPARATION: A compound of formula II (Bn is benzyl; Z is benzyloxycarbonyl) is glycosylated using a compound of formula III to obtain a compound of formula IV. The resultant compound is then debenzylated to produce a compound of formula V followed by deacetylation. In addition, both the compounds of formula IV and V are new compounds.
