To obtain the subject new compound useful as a preventive and treating agent for gastrointestinal tract motion disorders such as indefinite complaint of the upper abdomen, nausea, vomiting, heartburn, anorexia, abdominal pain, feeling of fullness of abdomen, chrinic gastritis, regurgitant esophagus cancer and postagastrectomy syndrome, alleviated in side effects.
This compound is represented by formula I [R1 to R3 are each H, hydroxy, a lower alkyl, etc.; R4 is H to a lower alkyl; X is furyl, thienyl, etc.; (m) is 0-2; Y is imino or oxygen; (n) is 2-4; Z is a mono or di-lower alkylamino, etc.], e.g. 2-[N-3,4-dimethoxybenzoyl)aminomethyl]-4-[[2-[(2- imidazilidinidene)imino]-ethyl]aminocarbonyl-1,3-thiazole. The compound of formula I is obtained by reacting, e.g. a compound of formula II (U is a halogen, hydroxyl or an alkoxy) with a compound of formula III (V is the same as U) and reacting the resultant compound with a compound represented by the formula T-(CH2)n-Z [Y is RaNH (Ra is H or an alkyl) or hydroxy].
