Abstract:
To provide a nail capable of increasing the fixing strength of a roof material by suppressing the occurrence of cracking in a stiffener.
This nail A comprises a head 2 at one end of a body 1 and a tip 3 at the other end. The tip 3 is tapered from the body 1 toward the tip. The dimension w of the tip 3 in the lateral direction is formed larger than the dimension t of the tip 3 in the thickness direction. The head 2 comprises a mark 4 indicating the lateral direction of the tip 3. The nail can be easily positioned so that the grain direction of the stiffener crosses the lateral direction of the tip 3 while visually confirming the mark 4 on the head 2. Preventing cracking in the stiffener makes the nail hard to be extracted from the stiffener.
