Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a new nail for facilitating driving work with sufficient holding function after driving and mass-produced efficiently with simple equipment at low manufacturing costs regarding an open-enlarged nails suitably used for a compression-molded board and plywood.
CONSTITUTION: A nail has a head 1 and a cylindrical shank 2. An inner hole is bored only in the tip part of the shank 2 to form an approximately cylindrical leg part 3, and the leg part 3 is provided with plural axial depth of cut 4...4 so that the leg part 3 is opened at the driving time.
