PURPOSE: To improve the workability of the ancillary information imprinting at the time of X-ray photographing by constituting the controller in such a manner that the information magnetically recorded on the card or name card of a person to be inspected can be automatically read and transferred and can be written on a photographic film by a writing head provided near the photographic film.
CONSTITUTION: The data on the person to be inspected in the prescribed data column recorded on the card 17 is read by an OCR 7 and is sent to a magnetic card forming machine 8 which records the data on the person to be inspected on the magnetic card 13 fed from a feed card hopper 9. The data is automatically read when the magnetic card 13 is inserted to a card reader 11. The data is written on an X-ray film by a writing head 15 provided in a data imprinting device of a photographing section 1. An X-ray operator is able to imprint the data of the person to be inspected on the X-ray film without leaving from a control console in this way and, therefore, the workability is improved and the generation of an error in the collation of the person to be inspected and his card is obviated.
