Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain a polypropylene-based resin, having ultrahigh rigidity, heat and impact resistance and excellent in balance among them and its composition.
CONSTITUTION: A polypropylene-based resin having the following characteristics. The content of α-olefin units other than propylene is ≤4mol% and the mmmm fraction is ≥96.0% in the pentad fraction measured by 13C-NMR. The position (Tmax) of the main elution peak in a heating fractionating method is >118.0°C and its half-width (σ) of the peak is <4.0°. The aforementioned resin contains propylene polymer having ≥0.5dl/g and ≤5.0dl/g intrinsic viscosity [η] and the rubber content measured by a pulse NMR exceeds 25%.
