Abstract:
PURPOSE: To easily and surely fill a recessed portion for enclosing the joint member of a segment.
CONSTITUTION: In a method whereby recessed portions 3 for enclosing joint members are filled after a number of segment 1, each having joint-member enclosing recessed portion 3 formed therein, are connected and assembled together by means of joint members 7, 11, 13 disposed inside the recessed portions 3, a lid plate 15 adhering well to a foaming material 23 and made from an incombustible material is bonded to that portion of the inner peripheral surface 1A of each segment 1 where the recessed portion 3 is opened, to block the opening. The foaming material 23 is injected into the recessed portion 3 from the injection hole 17 of the lid plate 15 and foamed inside the recessed portion 3 to fill the recessed portion 3.
