PURPOSE: To obtain a new roof surpassing the existing conception of a roof by utilizing a novel and original design of tile blocks in the roof while making use of joints of the tile blocks which are excellent in work efficiency, watertightness and strength.

CONSTITUTION: A metallic setting bed member 2 having an uneven shaped section is so constructed that a recess 2a and a projection 2b thereof are at right angles lengthwise of the setting bed member on ground materials of the main building, etc. A tile locking member 30 is fixed lengthwise of the projection on the projection of the metallic setting bed member or on the projection crossing the recess. A tile block 34 is so interlocked that an interlocking groove 34a provided to the rear thereof and a notch section are respectively interlocked with an interlocking projection 33 projected to the locking member and an interlocking claw 35.
