PURPOSE: To provide the clock distribution/transfer system preventing the increase of system scale, with regard to a system for executing phase control and fault detection at the time of clock transfer in a synchronizing network.
CONSTITUTION: In system for distributing a synchronized clock to plural clock receiving parts 121-12n having each different distance from a clock distributing part 11, a means for folding back a transferred clock to the clock distributing part 11 is provided in each clock receiving part 121-12n. Also, this system is constituted by providing a phase control part 13 for controlling a phase of a transmitting clock to each clock receiving part 121-12n in accordance with phase of the respective folding-back clocks, and a disconnection detecting part 14 for detecting a fault by whether the folding-back clock is received or not, in the clock distributing part 11.
