Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a cull releasing mechanism capable of easily separating a cull from the nose surface of a plunger regardless of the characteristics of a molding material and the shape of a molded form.
CONSTITUTION: A pinion 23 is connected to a plunger 6 installed to a top force through an oldham's coupling 22 and a rack 24 engaged with the pinion 23 is moved in the direction B by an air cylinder 25 in a cull releasing mechanism, thus allowing the revolution of the plunger 6 under a mold-closing state, then allowing the giving of shearing stress to the boundary section of the nose surface 6a of the plunger 6 and a cull.
