PURPOSE: To obtain a rodlike easily edible crunch candy crunchable by holding thereof in a hand with a sense of a snack confectionery, etc., and provide a method for producing the crunch candy.

CONSTITUTION: This crunch candy contains a candy layer and a filling layer such as a cream alternately mixed in a laminated state in the interior of a slender rodlike material having the outer periphery covered with a candy sheet. Furthermore, this method for producing the candy is to carry out the extrusion molding of a previously prepared candy dough 2 into a tubular shape, inject the filling such as the cream 3 into the hollow part thereof, continuously fold and superpose the resultant tubular material 4, wind the candy sheet around the outer periphery thereof, form a ropy material 7, previously roll the ropy material 7 with rolling rolls 8, roll the material 7 into sheetlike materials 11 and 11' having a prescribed thickness with contact bonding plates 10, divide the rolled sheetlike materials 11 and 11' into plural slender rodlike materials 17 with grooved rolls 15, cut the materials 17 to a prescribed length and cool the cut materials.
