PURPOSE: To prevent the generation of a void by the remaining gas in the heat pressing process of a collecting electrode, enhance the mechanical strength and sealing property of the collecting electrode itself, and improve zinc-bromine battery performance and life.

CONSTITUTION: A net 18 formed from a thermoplastic synthetic resin material is placed on a sheet insulating frame material 16a, a plurality of insulating frame materials 16b having a hole part 17 bored inside are laminated on the upper surface of the net 18. Within the hole part 17, carbon plastic electrodes 15a, 15b and a collecting mesh 6 are laminated and successively integrated in sandwich on the upper surface of the net 18, and each insulating frame material 16a, 16b is integrated together with the net 18, the carbon plastic electrodes 15a, 15b, and the collecting mesh 6 by a heat press means under preset temperature and pressure conditions to manufacture a collecting electrode for zinc- bromine battery.
