Abstract:
PURPOSE: To keep cable stretching intensity constant within a telescopic boom as well as to prevent the occurrence of rupture.
CONSTITUTION: An anchor 11 is provided for the outside of a telescopic cylinder, the rod 5 of the telescopic cylinder 4 is rotatably pivoted on the tip end section of the anchor 11 to pivotally support an extension side pulley 21 and a cable drum 23. A contraction side pulley 22 is pivotally supported to the base end section of the anchor 11, after the endless contraction rope 20 installed on a contraction side return guide has been installed on the contraction side pulley 22, it is locked on a contraction side return guide 44. After an extension rope 19 installed on an extension side return guide 45 has been installed on an extension side pulley 21, it is fixedly attached onto a rope clamp 42. After a cable 18 fixedly attached onto a cable clamp 43 has been wound up on a cable drum 23, it is returned to a cable return guide 46 so as to be fixedly attached thereon. A guide base 12 is fixed on a tip end boom 1, the boss 24 of the anchor 11 is rotatably pivoted onto an intermediate boom 2, and the base end section of the telescopic cylinder 4 is also rotatably pivoted onto the base end boom 1.
