Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain the pattern generating device and its control method which efficiently perform pattern generation processing.
CONSTITUTION: A PDL(Page description language) interpreter device 1 generates a corresponding pattern according to font data stored in one of hard disks 2-5 according to PDL data which are inputted. Then the generated pattern is cached on the hard disk out of which the font data for the pattern generation are read.
