PURPOSE: To set arbitrary sound and voice at arbitrary time to be telephone call sound by recording calling sound in a semiconductor memory which can be rewritten and reproducing calling sound recorded in a storage device in synchronizing with calling sound transmitted from an exchange.
CONSTITUTION: When a calling signal arrives a telephone circuit 8, a synchronous signal is outputted from a synchronous circuit 7 in synchronizing with the transmission start of the calling signal, the reading of head sound data in the semiconductor memory 1 is started and the reading of sound data in the semiconductor memory 1 is also completed. The time (length) of sound reproduced at that time is set to be recorded arbitrary time (within three seconds). At the time of generating telephone call sound longer than one cycle of the call signal from the exchange, a function detecting the pronunciation of the call sound is provided on the synchronous circuit 7 and the synchronous signal is prevented from being sent during pronunciation. The time (length) of sound to be reproduced becomes arbitrary time (≥ three seconds).
