Abstract:
Provided is a portable terminal comprising: an acceleration sensor that outputs an acceleration value; a sub-processor that generates walking information on the user's walking, on the basis of the acceleration value; a first counting unit that counts a first number-of-steps indicating a number of steps, on the basis of the walking information; a second counting unit that counts a second number-of-steps indicating a number of steps, on the basis of the acceleration value; a generation unit that generates a first relational expression indicating the relationship between the first number-of-steps and the second number-of-steps, on the basis of the first number-of-steps and the second number-of-steps; and a correction unit that corrects the first number-of-steps on the basis of the first relational expression.
