Abstract:
PURPOSE:To provide a manipulator controller capable of accurately moving a hand to a desired point regardless of the distance between an image pickup means and the moving destination of the hand. CONSTITUTION:A video camera 38 for photographing the work space of a hand is set vertical to the two-dimensional orthogonal coordinates. The image photographed in the work space is displayed on a screen. The position information on a display position W1 on a screen set at the moving destination W of the hand is inputted together with the position information on a display position P1 set on the screen at a specific position P on the same plane as the destination W. These position information are converted into the coordinates on the plane coordinates. Then the coordinates on a point P0 obtained when a specific area stored previously is projected on a plane coordinate system, the coordinates of the position P1 of the specific area, and the coordinates of the inputted position W1 are corrected into the actual coordinates (of a point W0).
