Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a vinyl polymer emulsion composition for producing a foam, capable of producing a foam excellent in compression recover, water resistance, etc.

CONSTITUTION: In the vinyl polymer emulsion composition for producing a foam, the whole solid matter content is 45 to 85wt.% and the viscosity of an undried foam expanded by two times on volume base is 2000 to 700000cPs. As the vinyl polymer, there is no special limitation and any foamable polymer can be used. For example, a polymer of one or more kinds of vinyl monomers selected from among an ethylenic unsaturated carboxylic acid ester, an ethylenic unsaturated nitrile, an aromatic vinyl compound, a vinyl halide compound, etc., or their derivatives is used.
