Abstract:
PURPOSE:To execute a signal processing by leading an output signal of an optical branch/coupling waveguide to different places. CONSTITUTION:A waveguide tip in which plural optical branch/coupling waveguide patterns are formed is contained in a fixed member 7, and to both end sides of this fixed member 7, 2-fiber array implements 5a-5d are connected, optical fibers 8-15 are connected to both end sides of each optical branch/ coupling waveguide pattern through the 2-fiber array implements 5a-5d, and single core optical connectors 16, 17, a 2-core optical connector 18, a 2-core optical connector 19, and a 2-core optical connector are connected to the optical fibers 8, 9 the optical fibers 10, 11, the optical fibers 12, 13, and the optical fibers 14, 15 respectively, and an output signal from the optical branch/coupling waveguide is led to different places through the 2-core optical connector 19, 30.
