Title:
BINDING MATERIAL FOR CONCRETE BLOCK IN WATER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH0570200
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a binding material having an excellent packing property, increased resistance against the mutual separation of respective components, an improved adhesive performance and a long pot life, capable of being readily applied and of preventing a curing time from bring prolonged, permitting the curing within a prescribed time, giving cured products having high strengths, decreasing production cost and used for concrete blocks in water.

CONSTITUTION: A binding material for concrete blocks in water is characterized by kneading a cement, water, a fine aggregate, silica fume and/or furnace slag fine powder, and an additive not separated in water, and further a high performance water-reducing agent. The binding material preferably comprises 100 pts.wt. of the cement, 40-60 pts.wt. of the water, 200-300 pts.wt. of the fine aggregate, 5-15 pts.wt. of the silica fume (or/and the furnace slag fine powder), and 0.3-1.0 pt.wt. (2-4kg per m3 of the mortar) of a thickening agent, and preferably 0-3.0 pts.wt. (in an amount of 0-2.5% of the weight of the binding material (powder weight) of 0-2.5% as the solid weight) of the high performance water- reducing agent as the solid content.
