PURPOSE: To prevent a lid attached to a container main body from coming off from the container main body and jolting by a method wherein protruding latches are formed inside the lower rim of the cover on the mounted side of a member, and retaining steps are formed at specified positions along the upper opening of a container main body so that the protruding latches engage with the retaining steps.

CONSTITUTION: Latch members 6 of a lid 2 are located on both sides of a handle 1a of a container main body 1 and protruding latches 7 are formed inside the lower rim of the lid 2 on the mounted side of the latch member 6. Retaining steps 8 are formed on both sides of the handle 1a of the container main body 1 so that the protruding latches 7 can engage with the retaining steps 8. When the latch member 6 are pressed to release the engaging state between an openable lid 4 and the latch members 6, the openable lid 4 is springly opened by the force of a spring to open a feed port. Even when the openable lid 4 is springly opened, the lid 2 mounted on the case main body 1 can be prevented from jolting and coming off from the case main body 1 because the protruding latches 7 formed on the lid 2 firmly engage with the retaining steps 8 of the case main body 1.
