Abstract:
PURPOSE: To safely shorten a compensating rope in a short time with no fatigue by a worker when the compensating rope of an elevator is elongated.
CONSTITUTION: In this correcting method, a latch fixture 33 having upper/lower horizontal parts 33U, 33D is prepared, to hook the upper horizontal part 33U of this latch 33 to a movable body 32 of a jack 30, to also lift a compensating pulley 5 through the latch by the jack 30, and a nut of a screw lever member is adjusted to be fixed.
