PURPOSE: To provide a moving floor for a vehicle which is t designed to increase a cargo room space by a method wherein a car body is formed elevatably togetherwith a part of a plurality of seats so that a car room is formed below a floor part when a part of the floor is raised.

CONSTITUTION: Seats 4-6 in three rows are arranged at the car body 1 of an FF car constituted such that, for example, an engine is horizontally arranged to the front part of a car body 1 to drive front wheels 3. A floor part 7 to which a seat 5 in a second row is attached is elevatably arranged above the floor 1a of the car body 1. In this case, a link type elevating mechanism is used as a mechanism to elevate the moving floor part 7. This constitution causes raising of the moving floor part 7 from a lowering position shown by a one-dot chain line to a rise position shown by a solid line and formation of a large capacity cargo room 12 below the moving floor part 7 as a result of the moving floor part being raised. Thus, a cargo is loaded in and unloaded from the cargo room 12 through a door opening 1b for elevation formed in the side of the car body 1.
